Grapefruit MeringueIngredients Serves 2
1 grapefruit
1 egg white
50grams sugar
Honey
Preheat the oven to 150⁰c
Cut the grapefruit into half and cut loosen the flesh with a knife. Drizzle a little honey on fruit.Whip the egg white. Add sugar in 2 batches. When the mixture stiff and glossy, it is ready. Scoop the mixture on to the grapefruit and bake at 150⁰c for 15mins
or until the meringue is a little brown.Tips
: Make sure all the utensils are grease free. Any grease will prevent the egg white from whipping.
